Sansapatcher 0.5 Released

Sansapatcher 0.5 has been released, as well as v3.0 of the bootloader, which removes all hotswap support from the bootloader. This should fix any problems users are having with booting the OF.

E200R Series

Well, we managed to do the same thing that was done back in March - convert the e200 to an e200R, and then convert it back. e200tool was required, but it wasn't hard. Using a modified R bootloader, we tried to get Rockbox to load, but the Sansa froze. However, the Sansa did not say load main image failed, so I'm going to try again and see if I can get it working.

What I've found:
Rhapsody seems to be able to find the hidden partition, as it says the disk has 20.4 MB of used disk space, right after formatting. Windows says that 440 KB is used.

Rhapsody doesn't seem to be able to license the "e200R" saying the license is corrupt.

E200R

Due to new information that has been found today, we're one step closer to having Rockbox on the R series. I'm going to try and see if I can convert to an e200R and back, so wish me luck.

USB Sending works!

Sometime earlier today barrywardell managed to get USB sending to work:

14.51.11 # * barrywardell thinks that he has figured out the usb send problem
14.51.30 # <barrywardell> it was the ibss: we were sending ok, but just sending zeroes!
[...]
16.25.17 # <dionoea> austriancoder: so you have a native rockbox USB stack working now ?
16.25.54 # <austriancoder> dionoea: almost... msc driver is not ready... and some cleanups are needed

I'm sure it won't be long before we have USB support now.

I was just corrected in IRC - the MSC driver is one of the biggest parts, and since nobody knows what the ETA could be, it could be "a while" before it works.
